Sorry for the delay.
The current usage of the vSAN cluster is 72% and i have a total of 153 VMs and there are more to go in the next few weeks.
Another question:
Is there a way to see if a VM is currently been deduplicated? I mean to see the information of deduplication and compression individually.

New Virtual on Samsung 860 EVO SSD
I am trying to create a new virtual machine using ESXI 6.5. When I click finished I get the error I have attached in the screenshot. I have used the following SCSI Controllers. LSI Logic SAS, LSI Logic Parallel, VMware Paravirtual. I am thinking I may need the driver for these SSDs. But I have found nothing online. Anyone with experience in this? I am at a dead end.

You can't upload an ESXi image to Update Manager afaik.
But you can upgrade an ESXi node with with an Offline Bundle and the Install-VMHostPatch cmdlet.

Take snapshot of vcenter and try this
Stop all vcenter services using service-control --stop --all
Check "C:\ProgramData\VMware\vCenterServer\data\vpostgres\postmaster.pid" file - if exist delete the file or move it to another location
Reboot the vCenter

Also check if the vCenter has space issue where the postgres is residing like C drive nearing space .. It needs to have 10% space available minimum

There will be definitely in future for sure. This is the same happened for 6.0 U3 to 6.5.

HTML plugin: sampleB breaks when replacing urn:cr with abc:xyz
I had a problem for a few days, where I was not able to add options to custom objects and I managed to reproduce it on one of the samples:
If you replace "urn:cr" with "abc:xyz" in the bundle-context.xml of the service as well as in the ModelObjectUriResolver (replace SCHEME with "abc" and NAMESPACE with "xyz"), then a right click on a Chassis in the view won't show any menu items.
This looks like a bug on the vSphere SDK side.

Re: Threadripper ESXi 6.7 GPU and USB passthrough, experience progress and problems
4 GPU passthrough devices, 2 USB controllers, 1 audio device, split amongs 4 VM's.
Using only motherboard USB now. Seems to work with d3d0; would you suggest changing it to something else?
Also, I'm getting random VM lockups when under GPU load (not often, on the order of once in a few hours.) VM locks hard, host is OK, but rebooting the vm puts it into Error 43 with no gpu: need to reboot the host to fix this. The VM with the GPU furthest on the motherboard from the CPU is most often affected. Don't know if this is a pciHole, msiEnable, or agesa problem... grrr.
I looked into the log files when rebooting the VM (into error 43). "Bad" reboots have this at the end: (truncated). There's some earlier stuff about vmware tools not loading either. Anyone know that this stuff means? (This text doesn't appear on normal boots, only after a lockup that yields error 43 on VM reboot).

You should order "OpenManage Integration for VMware vCenter" formaly known as "Dell Managment Plugin for VMware vCenter" which adds your PowerEdge Inventory into vCenter so you can see it on cluster or host level. Its available since 2010 or so. It show support lifetime also and as a major plus you can apply FW updates to the hosts through WebClient.

However, when I attempt to install them, the dialogue just disappears.
I've attempted to manually configure the `VMware Tools kernel modules` with
vmware-config-tools.pl --modules-only
in the terminal and nothing has been successful. The following line;

are printed at the end of the command. I'm stuck and I don't think I know how to fix this.

If your datastore was using VMFS via iSCSI before then the NFS-server will not display the VMs when you use it via NFS.

Looks like Converter included the Dell recovery partition.
Boot the VM with a LiveCD of your choice and check if the Windows boot partition is present and if the boot-flag is set correctly.
